![]() Aaron grew up in a musical family and was exposed to contemporary art from a young age. His formal studies began at the Corcoran School of Art in the winter of 1993 - 1994. During his time in Washington, D.C. he was a frequent visitor to the city's many world-class museums where he learned from the old masters. Aaron earned a degree in History with an emphasis on Ancient Greece and Rome from the University of Oregon in 1996. Aaron also studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts and while there he received an Alumni Merit Scholarship for the 1999-2000 academic year. After spending a year in the San Francisco bay area, Aaron transferred to Southern Oregon University. Taking six months for an independent study, Aaron traveled extensively studying throughout Italy and France. Graduating in 2002 with a BFA in Painting, Magna Cum Laude, Aaron also received the top prize awarded to a painter in the school wide 2002 juried show. |
